Pr. 3:5,6 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart.  Lean not on your own understanding.  In all
                   your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

Gift-wrapped box

It was concerning when we heard the news that my Dad needed heart surgery.  As a child, he had contracted rheumatic fever and as a result his heart had been damaged.  It wasn't until many years later that this was discovered.  There was no cure but through surgery, his heart valve could be replaced. 
Many prayers went to the Lord for healing but his condition did not change.  We persisted in prayer but still no change.  Then one day, our little daughter said to us, "Last night I had a dream.  I was praying to Jesus.  I asked Him to heal grandpa.  In my dream, Jesus gave me a gift-wrapped box with a big bow.  I opened it and out came a doctor."
And that's exactly what happened.  My father had a difficult surgery, a harsh time of recovery, but recover he did.  We were grateful to the Lord for His kindness and His answer.

But Jesus said, "Let the children come to me.  Don 't stop them!  For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these little children."  (Mat 19:14)
